We’re a fifth-generation working farm in beautiful Washington, Utah. Our roots are deep in agriculture and family heritage! In the Spring and Summer, we have a Farm Market for fresh fruits and vegetables, and we host Community Garden plots. In the Fall, we have a large cornfield maze, pumpkin patch, farm hayrides, and Halloween Haunted events. Don’t miss our annual Field of Screams — a haunted cornfield! It’s farm fresh fun for all ages!

Every turn provokes screams from even the bravest of the brave. It’s the ultimate scare — on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights: dark to 11pm (Mon thru Sat the week of halloween).

The St. George Area Chamber of Commerce presents “a Taste of Dixie”–a community festival that will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 7th and 8th at Vernon Worthen Park. “A Taste of Dixie,” will show local residents and visitors what’s offered here in Utah’s Dixie, featuring local business, local artists, LIVE entertainment sponsored by Dixie Applied Technology College, a kid’s play area sponsored by Mountain America Credit, and of course…FOOD! Halloween in St. George, Utaaaaaah!!

Wild West Days in Leeds

Event will feature a “Shoot Out”, Soap Box Derby, a Home Town Play, Fiddling & Dancing, Wagon Tours of Old Silver Reef, Pony Express Race, 5 K Run, Story Telling, and all kinds of games and fun! Vendors will be selling food and crafts. Many of the events are free, but there will be a registration fee of $10.00 for the Soap Box Derby, $20.00 for the 5 K Run, and $25.00 for the Pony Express Race. ON OCTOBER 12th at 7pm YELLOWCARD will come to St.George Dixe State College. Yellowcard is a pop/alternative rock band based in Los Angeles.

Some of their best known songs include: “Ocean Avenue,” “Lights and Sounds,” “Only one” and “Way Away” to name a few.

Huntsman World Senior Games Oct 2-14

On October 3rd The Huntsman World Senior Games will come back to Saint George to celebrate its 25th year.  Athletes (men and women) 50 and older will be coming from all over the world to socialize, greet, and compete in a variety of competitions such as (Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf and many more events.)

 Many of the athletes have been competing in the games for years. The hope is to always win a medal but most of all about about friendship and seeing friends once again.

We look forward to having participants coming back to our hotel once again and wish everyone good luck during this 2011 Huntsman World Senior Games.

The Opening Ceremonies are on October 4th at 7:00 P.M. at The Dixie State College Hansen Stadium. The Special speaker will be seven-time Olympic medalist Shannon Miller!  Admission is free so come and celebrate this special event with all of these great athletes!

TIP:   If you are able to plan around this event try to arrive after the games conclude.  The slow season for the St. George area begins after the games conclude and rates tend to go down slightly
